About Us
Lele Wa’a means “to launch from canoe” and is considered the ancient sport of tow-in-surfing. Today, jet skis are utilized to accomplish this activity but historically, the Ali’I would use canoes having their best paddlers tow them into waves. With the speed and extremity this sport has been driven to, those who brave the water today need a support vessel they can depend on and trust to get them into the places they want to go, and more importantly, back out.
Using this ancient Hawaiian name, Lele Wa’a brings an overdue service to Maui’s watermen/women by providing escort in their quest to find themselves, as well as explore and preserve Hawaiian culture while riding the nalu (waves).

Owners Captain Jeremy & First Mate Bethany have been on Maui's waters since 2005.
